PC shuts off abruptly during a power surge/loadshedding even with UPS

I am going for a battery change ultimately.
It will cost Rs.1126/-(including 18% GST) for the replacement.

It is recommended to change the UPS after 2-3 years because the inbuilt battery usually deteriorates by this time.It is also more expensive to just replace the inbuilt battery instead of buying a new ups.

I have replaced my sukam 600VA UPS battery 3 times for only Rs.600 . Battery was also a quality exide battery. 700 battery cost - 100 for old battery.
My UPS is now about 7 years old

Let me check. Last time I asked,the shopkeeper quoted ~1100 for a good brand battery for 600VA ups.

I think 1000 is an ok price. My parents used to replace it for about 800 about 3-4 years ago, used to last 2 years.

PRICE of battery is Rs.950/- + 18% GST = Rs.1,121/-
Sorry for the wrong value in my above comment.
Also, the UPS is of 800vA.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FRIENDS.
The Battery of Champion UPS was literally exhausted with white sulphur deposits around its two terminals(after opening the UPS module case).
I replaced it with a new Battery by Champion at the above quoted price.

Now ALL IS WELL.
