pc restarts when using msconfig

in a pc there is a problem , when i run msconfig or i want to install any antivirus or hyjackthis then the pc restarts , i am unable to run any of those program ,
i donno what could be the problem ..

i also tried the same with safe mode .. but failed ..

please help me ..


i am unable to run hijackthis so i cant get any log ..
please help me urgently..

download avast bart cd then try booting with it and scanning

try some online scan.....i'll suggest *housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/

it's a very good online scan...which gives you some fruitful result...
