Its a pretty good game.
Souls like but with guns. and gunplay is great
Boss fights are the best, with adds mixed in.
Fun with friends, bit more in difficulty if solo but can be done.
Really recommend it. Not played 2, but for what I've read, it improves on what made the first good.

Really? I cannot verify the upgrade path myself as I have them all.
But they have mentioned like only D4 Deluxe and Ultimate people cannot upgrade. Not sure why it isnt working for you..
