1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans:
Posting this on behalf of a relative who wishes to get a desktop build for the following requirements

- Online Classes
- Watching movies/ tv
- Longevity of config is important, can look to upgrade components progressively if required (they wouldn't want to make a new purchase till at least 5 years)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: 35k to 45k
+5k (to compensate for Monitor budget being pre-selected)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: 512gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: YES
Shortlisted the following (anything better within same budget is welcome)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within next 4-5 days (urgent need due to session)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler
(suggestions welcome for this as well)

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Delhi
- Wazirpur Market is near,
- Online options would help

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:

- If monitor cost of ~17k puts a constraint on budget (28k remains), can look to extend overall budget to 50k.
- Would prefer AMD if it helps save cost

NUCs with low end 10W processors aren't good enough.

AMD Ryzen 3 3300X: 11.5k
Gigabyte B450M DS3H WiFi: 8.5k
USED Zotac GT 1030 DDR5 (For video output): ~3k (DON'T GET IT NEW)
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB (1x8GB) 3200MHz: 2.9k
Kingston A2000 250GB M.2 NVME ssd: 3.5k
Corsair VS450 80+ WHITE: 3.3k
BENQ GW2283 : 7.9k
Logitech MK200 KB+Mouse Combo: 1.1k
Total without cabinet: 41.7k

Cabinet:
Corsair SPEC 01: 3.2k or Antec GX202: 2.9k
Total with Cabinet 1: 44.9k, Cabinet 2: 44.6k

Edit: 240-256GB is enough for OS + programs. You can add 1TB HDD for ~3k and 2TB for ~5k if needed.

Edit2: I just remembered there are 2 variants of 1030, 1 with DDR5 vram and other with DDR4. Don't get Zotac 1030 Thunder MA variant which has DDR4 or DDR5 vram. Rest of Zotac 1030 have DDR5 vram.

Your suggestion list is pretty great, I would just suggest OP to go for gt710 instead of gt1030. I mean the card is just added for video output and if OP wants to game on it later he would have to upgrade GPU one way or another. It would shave off some cost and probably make the budget get more breathing room.

GT 710 has DDR3 vram and is EOL. Used Zotac 1030 would have DDR5 vram (not the Thunder MA variant which has DDR4 or DDR5) and if it was registered for 2+3 years of warranty, OP might be able to use it while getting manufacturer warranty.

since main purpose of the PC is Online Classes and Watching movies, I dont think you need a system with a dedicated GPU. My suggestion is
Ryzen 3 3200g - 7.75k
MSI B450m pro m2 - 7.5k
G skill Ripjaws V 8GB - 2.9k
Kingston A2000 500gb - 5.35k
corsair cx450 -3.45k
Antec nx210-3.05k
Logitech k/b and mouse - 1k
Benq gw2283 - 7.5k
Total Rs.38500

I included dGPU because 3300X lacks iGPU. Won't recommend 3200G now as its Zen+ and 3300X is Zen 2. The latter can also be considered as an i7-7700K equivalent. Zen 3 CPUs would probably be announced/launched later this year.

You will not find 3300X anywhere in India or even outside India. I have been waiting for it for weeks and its unavailable everywhere -even on Newegg and Amazon USA.

I made a PC for my BIL's son for online classes using the same config (except MoBo was Gigabyte Gaming B450M and SSD was WD Black SN750 500GB) and its working geat. So I will suggest config as suggested by rijinpk1.

The main headache was finding a good Webcam...:x
