Check prices locally as well. Do not cheap out on any component. If you want a smaller monitor, make sure it is has either IPS or VA 1920*1080 panel and at least 1 HDMI in port. If you want to drop the ssd out, don't. Drop the HDD instead. Don't buy a 100 series mobo. It won't work with G4560 unless you get the bios updated. GX200 has 2 front usb 3.0 ports and apparently good front intake.

G4560 is more than enough for his needs. i5 8400 would cost 14k and mobo which supports it (currently) another 11k minimum.

Great.. Thanks a ton :) Any options in AMD ? Umm.. what about the 6th gen I5s.. wont that be better than the pentium ? Also why i should invest in an SSD for regular work ?

Look buddy, a G4560 can handle 1080p gaming if paired with a gtx 1060. Buying i5 would have no performance improvement in his usage. SSD improves the loading times.

@SaiyanGoku why Adata ram?It is not just you but most other members here too recommend it over corsair, kingston & even Transcend which are far more established brands.

@bssunilreddy why are you suggesting a 550W psu for a non-gaming/non-video editing home use system?

@billubakra it is not just loading time, using ssd is like using metro while using hdd is like using mumbai local as far as user experience is concerned.

I searched for 8gb ddr4 desktop ram available in stock on mdcomputers and that was the cheapest one there at the time of posting. OP is free to get any good 2400 MHz or above 8GB DDR4 ram which suits the budget.

That I am aware of but is it worth saving few hundred rupees(I am assuming difference is around 300-400) by not getting kingston or corsair or even transcend ram.Ram is after all a very crucial component in a system.

What is the difference between regular RAM and premium RAM for eg. Corsair Value Select vs. Corsair Vengeance if the frequency is same say 2400?

Are SSDs reliable enough for long term use as main disk?

Does the Pentium chip mentioned here include ondie graphics or the motherboard does?

Yes it does have Intel HD 610. No mobo has onboard graphics these days.

The heat spreaders differ. Value select modules may come without the sleek looking shroud. Other that that, their timings and compatibility with ryzen CPUs may be different as well.
