1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Photoshop & After Effects CS6, Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max....

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Budget is not an issue...

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Depends on the System....

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 64 bit....

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Minimum 1 TB...

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, atleast 24"

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: as soon as possible

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: It would be bought by my office...refer to my earlier post....

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: The setup is for a TV Channel....NE Television, Guwahati, Assam

THE SETUP I'm USING RIGHT NOW IS AS FOLLOWS....

Motherboard: Rampage II Extreme
Processor : Intel i7 920@ 2.67GHz

^^ :+1: for Quadro/FirePro. BTW.. for multi threaded apps AMD has a slight edge isn't it ?

@OP please do not go for gaming card.

absolutely true a top notch gaming card will be beaten an entry level quadro or firepro ...viceversa.............and please give us an idea about the budget

No, its not compulsory you can suggest other cards....
I was just giving you the insight of the system i'm working...
and for the price the system i'm using cost about 1.2 lakh..
So, you may suggest a system of about 1 lakh...

Moreover, the earlier system cabinet is of zotac and a internal cooling...
Guys, suggest me a best system to work...

That Gigabyte board is X79 chipset and hence is a LGA 2011 socket. An i7 3770K is LGA 1155 socket chip so it wont fit. Z77 chipset based motherboards are good with i7 3770K processors.

The Sabertooth is the most stable board out of all that you have posted. Its reliable, has great quality and perfect for demanding projects. The Maximus V formula is a gaming board and more suited for overclocking than stability, thought that does not mean that its not stable.

GIGABYTE X79S-UP5-WiFi is a good server board as long as you are going to implement SAS and yes with 3960X it edges only in the sequential read write speeds and a little in multithreaded application and has better memory bandwidth but then all that is evident only when you pop in a i7 3960X and we all know how much that chip costs. If you use i7 3820 things wont be that rosy and you will also end up with a dated Processor and Chipset combination.

So in my opinion its better to go with a Z77 (Sabertooth) and an i7 3770K (a little OC will do wonders) combination at the moment and within your budget. Or if you have a high budget better go for C600 and Xeons.

Quadro 4000

AS for C600 based motherboards (GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI ) look at Rs 18000 and above and Xeons E5 has 17 processor in that particular series. So Look at Rs 20K and above starting from the entry level 16XX series.

Will you use the rig as a server too? If not stick to Z77 and i7 3770 or X79 and i7 3820.

If going for the LGA 2011 way ...you can go for i7 3930k+x79 mobo+firepro v5900 or quadro4000.
i7 3930k is almost as good as i7 3960x but costs considerably less,0.1GHz clock and 3MB more cache on i7 3960X are few differences, performance wise nothing much.
