I have installed PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005 on my computer using the offer from Tata Indicom Broadband connection... This has been working fine for the past few months... It has both Antivirus as well as Firewall programs...
In my comp, I have an account with Admin priviledges and one with Regular User priviledges. Typically I use the second account for most work including browsing (to be on the safer side). When I update my virus definitions using the second account, in most cases there is no problem but occasionally, it would require a reboot followed by a login into admin account (prob. to register changes)...
For the past week or so, PC-Cillin has been giving me downloads almost once every day that requires rebooth... Is this the case for others using it also?
Also, yesterday, suddenly the firewall service is not available... It is greyed out in the options. I tried restarting the service but to no avail... Can anyone help me get this straightened out?
Finally, I got a mail a couple of weeks back from Tata Indicom that existing users will be able to upgrade to PC-Cillin 2006... Anyone know when and where the download will be available?
