PC audio system

now i've my PC asus p8h77-v
it has audio via hd audio deck
i ve a 5.1 philips speakers.. it has only 3 stereo inputs..
i ve heard that there is better audio listenin through some other interface from PC to amplifier..(spdif?)
i need more knowledge on this topic and need to improve listening quality?
So do i need a amplifier and new speakers? or can i use existing 5.1 system in a better way?

Alright.

10K wouldnt fetch you much Quality Sound system . If you are truly looking for good Professional audio then you should at least move up to 20-30K . Those will come with dedicated Av Receivers that you can connect with your hdmi port and get the real Dolby feel .
