Hello friends, kindly help me to build my pc within Rs. 30000. i have shortlisted some components while researching on internet. if you all think those are not good then please tell me that. but i am open to all of your suggestions. i am more keen on buying AMD based one and the scope for up-gradation should be present. but if you think Intel will be best then i can go for that too.
my shortlisted ones -
Processor: AMD FX4100 Processor
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3-1600 / G.Skill RipjawsX 4GB DDR3-1600
Hard Disk Drive: WD Caviar Blue 500 GB HDD
Power Supply Unit: Corsair CX430
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Frankly speaking, playing games (fifa 2013, max payne 3, mafia II, cod black ops II and all the other new games), watching 720p/1080p movies, working on softwares like matlab, autocad and other engineering softwares and surfing internet.
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 30000 is my budget, i can extend a bit though for a more balanced configuration.
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: not really.
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: windows seven (windows 8 looks good too, so can't say right now about that).
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500 GB
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, 18"-20", led, full hd preferable.
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: mouse, keyboard.
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: within 2 weeks.
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: it will be done by assembler.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: i live in Calcutta and am going to buy the components from Chandni Chowk. I check out Flipkart for prices though, but not really keen on buying from there.
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: i know its a bit tough to accommodate in this little budget, but i hope its not impossible thanks to all of you in advance
Thanks in Advance
