Partitioning :: what if i delete???

searched a lot, but couldn't find a thread about this prob

so i created a new one....

heres the prob,

most laptop that has pre-installed Windows Vista used to come to 2 partition, C and D
in HP laptop, D drive is mainly for HP RECOVERY

ok, what if i delete (or format) all in the D drive??
because i want to create 2, 3 partition
and nothing can be stored on that (HP RECOVERY) drive

If you format the Recovery partition, you'll lose the ability to restore everything that came installed in the computer, including the OS. It's as simple as that. However, you could back up before you do it.

Just see in the start menu if there is an option to create recovery cd/dvd. Once that is done ask your hp service centre and then delete it.
