Right off the assembly line
My computer have 250gb sata hdd and 160gb ide hdd. I am using 250gb sata hdd as root drive. recently my system crashed, I tried re-install winxp with format of 250gb. but at 33minutes its showing bsod and paused the installation. the bsod error :is:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer. PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software, Disable bios memory optiuons such as caching or shadowing.
Technical info:
atiide2k.sys - address F7B2300C base of F7B22000, Datastamp 4abf6f34
I tried to solve the problem of the following steps
1.replaced ram
2.removed all pci cards
3.replaced sata cables
4.cleared cmos
But the problem not solved after the above processes.
So i tried installation on 160gb ide hdd ...it succeed
5. I tried recovery consoule using with 250gb sata.
6.wiped the 250gb with dban
7. created new partition and tried installation.
8. enabled and disabled in many ways bios
But the same problem in my computer. How i can install winxp in sata hdd.
urgently required help ny one
