P2P client

hi all,
i work in a company i am behind a proxy
will any p2p client work in this network setup

i have earlier installed a bit torrent client but it was not working


kindly advise ASAP

You can try to install a general P2p software like Imesh or Limewire.

If they work, then i guess the proxy is a bit leniant.
However, if it still doesnt work,
try changing its connection port by going to the Preferences.

To see some of the ports that are open on your system, you may type netsat-a at the dos command prompt.
Accordingly, set the port value to that which is open on your system.

Bittorrent failure may be due to several other reasons, try the same thing above in bittorrent as well..
