Hi Guys,

Recently A Very Strange Thing Is Happening to My Laptop.I Had A User Of My Name Which was Administrator,But When I Started The PC Today I Saw Another User On The Log On Screen Called The "Other User".This Other User Asks Me For A Username And Password.I Am Able To Log In My Account But Now It Is A Guest Account And I Cant Install Anything.

My Laptop Is Vista Home Premium And Therefore I Cant Go To Local User And Group.When I Type "Control Userpasswords2" From Run I Cant Access It As I'm A Guest.The Other User Is Not Listed In The User Accounts Too.

Please Help Me........:cry:

Hi Again,

I Was Able To Fix This Problem On My Own.Though It Took A Lot Of Time.But I Finally Got It.

The Main Problem Was That My Acoount Had Been Made Guest From Administrator.To Make It Back Administrator Here's What I Did:

1.I First Logged In Safe Mode (By Pressing F8 On The Startup Screen)

2.Then I Selected Administrator,But Here's When I Faced My Second Problem.When I Clicked On Administrator It Asked Me For A Password.Even Though I Never Set Any Password To It.

3.I Tried Many Passwords Like Admin Or Administrator Or Windows But No Use.Then I Had Given Up All Hope When I Typed "Password" As The Password And I Was Able To Log In

4.Then I Went To Run (Ctrl + R) And Typed "Control Userpasswords2" Which Is An Equivalent Of Local Users And Groups Feature (Note: Just Typing Control Userpasswords Will Open User Account).From There I Simply Changed My Account Type To Administrator And No More "Other User" And I Had My Administrator Rights Back. 8)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE END~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
