Eddie Redmayne for The Theory of Everything is pretty darn deserving!

Have to watch rest of the movies, specially Whiplash. J.K. Simmons is awesome.

Birdman nails it and it was pronounced. Well done. Julianne Moore..huh! turned out to be a pretty good year for her alright. No hint and then back to back movies, Nightcrawler, Mockingjay, Alice...thats something.

Interstellar had pretty bland visual effects, had no competition and got away with it, if there was a genre of concept art implementation of theoritical physics, it would be a genuinely creditable note...but well..

I'm content with the fact that the overly puffed "12 Years a boy" (Boyhood) dint get much attention.

Yet to watch TToE.
Watched Whiplash last week, both Miles Teller & J K Simmons lived as their characters in the movie.

I still hope for J K Simmons to return as J J Jameson in TASM2 or the upcoming new "Spider-man" reboot as part of Avengers franchise.

i did not liked Birdman, i wish interstellar would have got best movie, and Ed Norton for best supporting actor for Birdman, that would be good, have not seen other, so cant comment

Theory of everything deserve the oscar, he reminds me of Daniel Day Lewis, but time will tell
