Opera Issues !!!

I have downloaded and installed recently but the problem is that It is neither recognised by Windows XP (the place where you select the browser for the start menu) nor by DAP (the place where opera is supposed to be selected has been disabled )

WHAT DO I DO ???

for DAP it will not work with newer versions of opera

heres the solution for dap

go to

c:\programfiles\opera\profile\

get cut the opera6.ini file


paste it into the directory c:\programfiles\opera\

now use dap

now copy the opera6.ini file into the profile again (which u cut)

but don't delete from anywhere

neither in the main directory nor in the profile directory

it will work
surely






for xp

see this directory
c:\programfiles\opera
make a shortcut of the opera.exe on ur desktop

thats finished

for the start menu thing, right click on taskbar, select properties, in that click properties,

in the show in start menu frame, in the internet column box, click the combobox and select opera. click ok twice. now you can see opera in the start menu.

That's what I tried earlier but it didn't work out !
