Online Recharge/shopping safety ?

I want to know whether is it safe to recharge from sites like paytm.com and mainly uninor.in (in the address bar https is red striked) with Debit Card ?

I was using Paytm but switched to freecharge few months back.

Rest assured these sites are safe and they have valid SSL certs on their site.

It's usually in your paytm wallet. You can refund to your back account from there.

They neither refund it to paytm wallet nor their support agree that recharge was not successful.

I regularly recharge from Paytm. They do refund if a recharge is not successful. And although not many recharges went unsuccessful but whatever did, I was given the option to refund in wallet or back to account.

Site is completely safe. I prefer Paytm since I get to have many vouchers. Like Rs 40 cashback on Rs 100 recharge. I used that voucher 3 times totaling to Rs 120 profit.

But real deal is finding such voucher codes. Many times it happened to me that Paytm told me about the code *after* did a recharge. Hence I make a habit to search for coupon code sites for any new voucher code before recharging now.

That is just Paytm trolling you. It's your fault for not digging up the place to enter coupon code.

I have been recharging via Paytm/Freecharge for past four years, never had a problem, not once, so yes, they are totally safe IMHO.

However in regards to online shopping, depends on where and whom you are purchasing from.

I use freecharge since a long time. Very few recharges were unsuccessful but the amount was refunded almost instantly. So go ahead.

Forgot to mention one thing. The mobile which I am using is not an Android one. It's an old nokia c 101 model. So could these apps be available for this model too?
