OCZ Petrol SSD failing to boot Windows 7

I got OCZ Petrol 128GB SSD installed on my system a few weeks ago. I installed Windows 7 (64-bit) on this SSD and has been using this system since then. Everything had been going smooth until today when the Windows refused to boot.

The system would start normally till just before the screen asking for Windows Password. Here the system stops responding and HDD's LED on the cabinet keeps on glowing. I started the system in Repair mode but Windows failed to boot again. Finally I tried using Windows DVD to repair the system but even that got hung with the same problem.

My SSD is installed in AHCI mode since the beginning and it shows properly under BIOS. What can the problem be?
