this is a bad dilemma - whether to go for Xperoa E or NL520
IIRC, Xperia E is having a Cortex A5 proccessor which means stock video player can't play HD files whereas L520 has a dual-core krait processor. The screen size, resolution and pixel density are also higher on L520 compared to Xperia E.

Some options
I think Galaxy Fame is better than Xperia E because of front cam in addition to all other same spec(performance of both chipsets are also approx same) + Fame has better UI than Xperia E.
I think Sony's UI is not so good esp due to notification bar(which is improved but still Samsung's UI has brightness adjuster)
