No discount on SBI debit cards

Hi,

On Amazon's website the discount is only on SBI Credit cards. As per this Debit cards are also included if we shop via Yono app
*www.amazon.in/b?ie=UTF8&node=13940082031
But the discount is not getting applied in Yono app either. Can anyone else confirm the same?

Thanks

Called Yono's customer care, idiots are saying that it is 10% discount for both dc and cc. When I told them otherwise they told me to talk to Amazon. Amazon on the other hand says to talk to Yono.

Discount is on minimum spent on Rs 5000 this time, rather than usual Rs 3000.
That's a deal breaker for me. -_-

Added products randomly but still no sign of cashback

Even with a cart of 10k, discount cannot be found on Yono, this app+its cs sucks btw. Man SBI is so aggressively pushing their credit cards. All they want is moolah. Saale are not happy with the lowest interest rates offered by them.

Only offers directly given by amazon show up on checkout page(& even there any upi cashback won't be shown, like 50% up to 300 off when pay via amazon upi coupon). Any other offers like yono/hdfc cashback etc won't be shown on checkout page as they are not given by amazon.

If they are not shown then no cashback at all. Confirmed by Yono's & Amazon's CC.

Amazon CC only knows about their offers so they will always say so(no amazon offer shown on checkout page then no cashback). As for sbi customer care, they know nothing.I know guys who got yono cashback & none of them ever saw cashback amt on checkout page.

Big risk, totally not worth it as their cs sucks.

Well, that sucks. Atleast we have 5% cashback on Amazon Pay card from ICICI (which I have).

Get SBI simplyclick card too,it gives 1.25% on amazon gift card purchase compared to 1% on amazon pay card & you can also combine this card's 2.5% off(in reward points) with sbi card's 10% offers+5% sbi yono offer for now.

That's good, having both cards cover almost all typical online transactions for good reward points. Btw how many coupons you collected this month for cashback.I got 650 total off coupons while a cousin of mine got 800 total off coupons this month.

Do we get these coupons if shopped via a pc? If yes then how to collect them?

Why not just install amazon app,it is faster/easier to navigate as well as check/collect coupons?

Not those kinds of coupons. Every month you get some common & some user specific coupons(though many get same coupons but not all get same coupons) like there was this send Rs.1 via amazon upi & get 5 coupons each for next 3 months(Dec,Jan,Feb,most useful one was 100 off on 500 & flat 50 off on 200 dominos order). Similarly there are coupons like shop at MORE superstore for 250 & get 50% up to 100 off for next shopping order etc. By collecting all these coupons in multiple amazon accounts(of family, relatives etc) one can easily get 1k cashback on various orders in a month. I myself collected & got 550 cashback in last month for a Rs.800 order & 650 cashback on an order this month while my cousin got 800 cashback on a 3.5k order this month.

I don't shop much and buy things only when it becomes necessary (or I live frugally).
For groceries and stuff, I go to local d-mart where most things in my list are at 50% off on MRP.
Clothes, well, I've lost a lot of weight in past 8 months (and still loosing ~1 KG/week). I would buy new ones when I've reached my desired BMI and build. :D

A friend of mine orders many grocery stuff in flipkart's Rs.1 deals of the day(many times got sugar/oil pack etc) & there was this amazon pantry offer recently giving 200 of on order of 750.:) These are some good savings for a family/married person but probably not for someone who is single & shops offline mainly. Btw have you checked sbi simplysave card,it gives effectively 2.5% off on all offline debit card spends at stores.

P.S. good luck reaching your desired bmi :)
