nfs carbon bad fps please help.

hello friends.

well i have nfs carbon.

whenever i run it on 800x600 at full high settings.4x antialiasing.texture filtering anisotropic.

i get low frame rates

heres the bench mark using fraps.
at 1024x768
1.Frames: 863 - Time: 51434ms - Avg: 16.779 - Min: 14 - Max: 21

at 800x600
2.Frames: 3317 - Time: 146946ms - Avg: 22.573 - Min: 18 - Max: 28

my system

intel p4 2.6 ghz
2gb ram.
xfx 256mb ddr3 8600gt
300watt smps.

please help.
i have heard even 7300gt gives 40fps average on those high settings on 800x600.

and can anyone please provide me a link on nfs carbon benchmarkings with all the dx10 cards.

Processor is the bottleneck.Pretty sure of that.I have a friend who runs it @1024x768 with all settings at high with easily playable FPS.8600GT can easily deliver playable FPS at those resolution.What driver version are you using?
