My friend purchased nexus 5 from play store on 21st Jan 2014.
After using, opening nexus 5 many times, it fell in water.. He went to LG service center for repair purpose. But they told him screen has water in it and need to be replaced. Motherboard is damaged, they will replace it with new, and told him nowadays parts are just replaced not repaired.
And warranty is also over, and he can't spend screen 8K + motherboard 22K on it (new nexus 5 comes in that price)
So, what is RMA can do all about this?? Some friends told him there is some iphone kind of service, like you can return your damaged product and with some amount they will give you new one.
What he can do now for this nexus 5 purchased from playstore?
