Moto G is more bang for bucks compared to Nexus 4. But.. at there original price point of Rs 14k (12.5k) and Rs 22k. But at the same price, Nexus 4 beats Moto G hands down.

Moto G have following stuff which N4 lacks:
-> Better processing power
-> Water proof due to nano coating (survives half an hour dropped in water test)
-> Sports a rigid body then Nexus 4 (which comes with glass back and is more prone to shatter)
-> Gorilla Glass 3 protection (against Gorilla Glass 2)

Somethings which Nexus 4 have and Moto G can only dream on...
-> Better Graphics performance
-> 1080p video out using SlimPort HDMI
-> Double the RAM of 2 GB
-> 8 MP camera and hence 1080p video quality, against 5 MP
-> NFC (aka wireless charging and data transfer)
-> Already tried and tested, dozens of ROM's and better developer support
-> Looks better than Moto G

But then a second hand phone is well, Second hand. As also mentioned in this article, which I recommend you read: Moto G versus Nexus 4 | Android Central

All the best deciding.

Now its ok........
As mentioned by others, CPU of N4 >>> CPU of Moto G
Krait cores of N4 even defeat A9 quad core, fir yeh A7 kya cheez hai ...........

Cyber Genius FTW
Nexus will be better supported for the simple fact that despite both being equally popular, the dual sim variants are Asia only as far as I know which means unofficial support is better for nexus than for moto g
That being said, moto g is not a bad phone by a fair chance and has nearly same features as nexus however nexus also has a few drawbacks such as its glass back which is prone to scratches and all my friends with the nexus 4 have cracked the back glass but if ur careful it shouldn't be a issue as such
