New Wireless Internet Connection

was using MTS mblaze till now and still am. but this will be gone soon in 15-16 days as mts will close shop in UP East (Lucknow). i was having plan 899 (12GB highspeed). now will be needing something similar. any ideas?

i have one tata photon+ usb card that i can get activated or i can go for any 3g connection. i have inquired about airtel 3g. should i go for their 3g usb data card (3.6 or 7.2 mbps) or get any other one and get airtel sim. same question for bsnl 3g along with their usb data card. their representative 2 years back told me that it is an unlocked one and can be used with any other sim also.

Airtel site says that their usb datacard is locked to airtel network. it is available for free by paying 3 months 3 gb unlimited tariff in advance. any other options?

tyvm but bsnl is known for bad cc and long downtime that is why i have not checked them. in fact in dec 2010 / jan 2011, i contacted their 3g data card sales person. he came once to show but didn't had a new one then. he was interested in pushing a 2g gprs sim along with 3g data card. i asked again after 3-4 days and he was not much interested in coming and ultimately didn't come though i was interested in buying card + 3g sim + INR4200 advanced rental for 6 months. :D

tried to look at their website since yesterday but it is continuously down :cry:

why not then Airtel 3g? airtel have better network and cc at least in lucknow. regarding plans, i feel almost all others have same / similar plans. airtel is giving 7.2mb datacard for INR200 with 3gb unlimited connection advanced rental for 4 months for INR 2300 (post paid).
