I got my lappy yesterday.
I had updated d windows n other updates of McAfee,Drivers, etc.
I'm really happy with it

congratulations

My small advice,
Uninstall Mcaffee, and install Microsoft security essential. Its free and and better than Mcafee. Best thing is, its very light.

R u sure wht u r saying , I think McAfee is trusted one , even d DELL guys suggest me 2 purchase d yearly subscription of it , Is d suggested one is better than mcafee , or I go 4 d paid anti-virus?

Definitely not mcafee.. Its resource hungry and not as gud as the other ones available.

I wud suggest go for paid ones (I used pir@ted ones for quite sometime but the paid ones really give u peace and arent that expensive now).

I recommend quickheal (from my personal experience) after having used KIS, NOD and Norton. If u even get a virus with quickheal, u can call up their helpline and they wud in no time give u a solution.

I've made my mind 2 buy quick-heal , offer of internet security pacakage fr Rs. 254 /- , Is it's an gd option?

I cudnt get quickheal link on microsoft site yesterday. Think the offer mite be over. Even without offer its not dat expensive.

Dell will always recommend Mcafee as they have some tie-up. And sales person work is only to sell product they have.

Go FREE, Don't waste money when you have better free alternative.
Antivirus -> Microsoft security essential (need genuine Windows OS)
Firewall -> Comodo Free Firewall
Anti-Spware -> Search and Destroy
System Cleaner -> cCleaner

otherwise U shud have gone to buy Acer..Total VFM plus Dell webcam totally sucks as compared to Acer !
