Never Ending Disk Check

Hi Friends,
Please help me !!!! recently a guest using my pc had switch off the pc while shutting down, there after the check disk is appearing in booting eventhough let it to check disk it will reappear again at next booting (windows xp with sp2) PLEASE HELP ME....
