Dear friendz
I have 4 machines ( 2 Win XP Home and 2 Win98 ). My problem is both the XP machines are networked but i can not bring the Win 98 machines under networking but all the drivers for lan card, configuration and cables are ok. Previously the networking was ok. but from last 1 month i could not find Win 98 machines in the Network Neibourhood (only standalone 98 machines are showed in the Net Neighbourhood. I could not understand and solve the problem.
Help me...

Hey thr,
If all the cables n hardware r perfect then the only thing I can think of is the "WORKGROUP". To check it (in Win XP) Right Click-->My Computer-->Properties-->Computer Name and check out WORKGROUP. In Windows 98 u will have to go to Control Panel-->Network Properties. Now see to it tht both Win XP and Win 98 machines have the same WORKGROUP. I guess tht shld be it or at the most u can try running "NETWORK SETUP WIZARD" in Win XP.

HOPE I was helpful.
