Nero 6…Unexpected Behaviour

I am using Windows XP with service pack 1a . Nero 6 was working fine with it. However, I recently installed the Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Now when I try to open Nero, it gives an error saying that the current version of Nero is not compatible with your system. Please install the
latest version.

I even uninstalled Nero and try to reinstall it. But the problem is there.

Please help……

if u r using nero v 6.1.x or 6.3.1.15, then u r bound to have this problem and it is acknowledged by Ahead too.

upgrade to the latest version (6.3.1.25) to solve the problem.

yes update Neor... it works fine fter updating.

Slightly older versions of Nero are not compatible with SP2, and require an upgrade. But in my case, I just ognored the warning and it did my job... no problems so far.
