Hi Guys,
I don't have much knowledge in Networking and going to buy Seagate Dockstar from friend. After that I would be installing Debian Squeeze on it and use the Dockstar as download manager.
Now the problem is I am having MTNL connection with UT-300R2 modem which only has 1 ethernet port.
So to connect Modem-PC-Dockstar to form a network would a network switch serve the purpose? Or is there anything else needed?
In other worlds, If I buy a switch and connect both my devices (PC & Dockstar) and the modem would they both be able to access internet?
please help...
any suggestion??
