yes but on medium settings and not graphic intensive games

normal college work (m doing an mba)

CD and DVD ROM plus writer

Dell INSPIRON 15R comes in your budget with AMD 7670M graphic card, you can easily play games on it with high and medium settings. but i guess at 42K you will get only 500GB hard disk, though there are many other options in 40K with free DOS.
