1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Heavy gaming, Photo editing with lightroom and photoshop! (Mostly RAW and TIFF files, The slow pokes)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: I am quite not sure. Seems like I can spend around 70K (Out of which 27K booked on GPU + PSU)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: None. Will re use. But might need SSD for OS partition.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No. Got Dell ST2220M

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: A used GTX 580, Corsair 850W AT

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Probably September

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Yes, Self done.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Chennai, Okay with online too. If out of options in local.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: This will be my second rig, My last one was i5 750 + DP55WB + 9600 GT + 4 x 2GB 1333. The board is out of upgrade options and so I wanted to build a new med-high rig! So I am trying to acquire some parts in second hand (good ones only!) and rest as new purchase.

I am in a dilemma to choose between a AMD / Intel. Main reason for AMD being the cost savings. I just wanted to know whether Phenom II X6 1100T BE or AMD FX 8150 or i5 2500K. If Intel, Can you guys suggest me a Board without inbuilt graphics. Also suggestion for AMD ? With SLI support please :) [I will try to do max stable overclocking possible. Should I go for a future proof mother board ? I am planning to use this rig for 4 to 5 years, And the only thing I might upgrade will be for a reference 580 on SLI]

I also need suggestions for RAM [Should I buy OC'able ones ? Do they really do a difference ? Will they help with my purposes ?] and 2 SSD's :) One for OS and one for Gaming! I was planning to get 120 + 120 or 80 + 120. If there is a huge price difference between 80 and 120 ? [I dont exactly understand the speeds and types of SSD's care to explain and what I might need ? For OS and Gaming ? i.e. which type for OS and which one for just Gaming or whether should I buy fast HDD's for gaming partition ? (Say like wd velociraptor?)]. I do own a 250 GB and 2 TB drives for storage purpose.

I will be needing suggestion for CPU cooler too. (I have a offer for ZALMAN CNPS7X Cooler ? Will it do any good for the processors I mentioned or should I go for a better one ?) And a spacey, Not so costly cabinet.

Waiting for your suggestions. Thanks in advance :)
