Here's the scenario. A DOS program needs to be run, and print out invoices. So far it has worked as a nice dual boot system. XP on one end, and Win98 with its core files missing so it automatically boots into DOS.
Now WinXP was recently reinstalled, and for some reason, the EPSON LX-80 printer (Wipro branded I think) refuses to print beyond a few lines (always the same amount of lines for a particular print). This has put me in quite a pickle as the running of that program is crucial. I tried printing a test page on the printer through XP and it works from there.
Now, is there a way by which I can use the Canon USB laser printer in DOS? Or maybe a way by which I can virtually print to a text file in DOS?
Here's hoping for some veteran geniuses still left in the forums.

Also, I noticed that one can install DOS. I've never really done this before, so how does one go about it?
