Re: Motherboard

Asus P8P67 fits what you are asking for, if you want a good quality. You can also look at Msi's version of P67, I think they are the cheapest.

ASUS P5P67 & ASUS p7p55d-e

GUys..could u tell me what is the differnce in these two mother boards..i wantd a pc for gaming...and i wanted it to overclock could P7P55D overclock.will it support the i5 2500k...i was low on budget so wantd to knw wht the difference between the tow motherboards is..

Re: ASUS P5P67 & ASUS p7p55d-e

there is no such board as p5p67. its p8p67.

only p8p67 will support the 2nd Gen- i5/i7 Intel processors, i.e, i5-2500k in your case.

p7p55d-e is for the old i5/i7 ones.

Lastly...

P55 = LGA 1156 = Core i5-750, Core i5-760 and Core i7-870 which is first generation and NOT sandy bridge.

P67 = LGA 1155 = Core i5-2400, Core i5-2500k, Core i7-2600k which is second generation i.e. sandy bridge.
