Need PC config for running VMs

Right off the assembly line
Hi,

I need to install VMs on the machine.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I will use this system to run multiple VMs. On VMs i will run network devices OS, to practice network scenarios. Will be running GNS3 for virtual Cisco and Juniper routers/FWs. Also, would be running F5 loadbalancer. Would be running around 10-20 devices simultaneously. I am not going to play games on this system.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 30k, but can go upto 45k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Linux Ubuntu 12.0.4

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, i want to buy a monitor of 20-22 inches, resolution 1920 x 1080 and Full HD.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: KB, mouse, UPS.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: This week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Yes, i will be assembling the system.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Navi Mumbai, yes can buy online.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: No need of graffic card. Want to use every penny to get processing power, that can handle load of multiple virtual devices.

yep go for vkl's AMD config if AMD is fine for you, only remember to add more RAM if possible.
and 8GB RAM chip preferably than 4GB RAM chips
