Need laptop for work mostly + light entertainment (~35k budget)

4 year old core i7 quad core is equal to new core i3 M processors. I would still suggest G500s as RAM can be added but graphic card cannot be. Also Lenovo laptops have superb build quality.

What about AMD processors? I'm seeing a lot of cheap laptops have them and don't know if they're good enough. Which are good ones for multitasking? or should I just stick to Intel?

And for SSDs, is there any particular brand I should be looking at?

amd has no issues any more like heating etc
i3 is sad compared to A10 for gaming,id suggest g505s with A10 but only issue is its a dual graphics laptop which some games like watch dogs have trouble with
for ssds ive heard corsair and samsung are good
