I need help upgrading my pc to a Nice gaming.
My current Spec:
Phenom ii x2 550 BE
Mothboard MSI (cheap)
DDR2 Ram 2gb
Local PSU -450 W not sure
9400gt chinese. xD
20" Lg monitor 1600x1200 max res.
I have Rs.15000 To spend.

Suggest me anything
I also need my pc for Photoshop purposes and 3D work and ofcourse I will run WIndows 8 or 7!


Need help!

I got 2 monitors-20" Lg monitor 1600x1200 max res.
Maybe I can run eyefinity. :)

A:multimedia,Gaming!

2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?
A:I Want a Nice graphics card,Maybe a 6850 or 6870

3. What is your MAX budget?
A:15k

4. Planning to overclock?
A:Yes

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A:Windows 7 or maybe even 8!

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A:320 GB Already Got!

7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want? If you already want have one and want to use it, mention its resolution and size.
A:1600x1200px already have

8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)

A:built 2 years back but no knowledge that time!

10. When are you planning to buy the system?
A:Within 2 days

11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?
A:yes I am for gaming and latest softwares

12. Are there going to be any components that you don't want to include in this new rig? If yes, do mention.
A:I already Have:

9400gt chinese- Want to change it ofcourse
Psu-Want to change
2Gb DDR2 Ram-Want to change
Msi k9n6pgm2 motherboard want to change
and gt a 20" LG monitor

Its 2.7K above your Budget but you can get some money by selling of the Mobo & Ram to reduce the difference.
Motherboard has AM3+ Slot hence you can upgrade to AMD BullDozer Based Processor later. Your current one is pretty old.

@OP-If you on tight budget then change the graphics card to ATI HD 6770. or you can sell your old parts and get the config suggested by techwiz.
