Need help with sound card

I'm planning to buy a Creative Inspire 5200. I have a P4 system with 845 chipset and i have no sound card installed except for the one in the motherboard..
Should i definitely buy a new sound card..
What would be its advantage and suggestions please..
Help me out guys..

well bud to have Inspire 5200 on Onboard Sound card is like using Ferrari with out tyres ...u will need a proper Sound card to get the max out of ur speakers..onboard sound just dont satisfy Creative Inspire 5200 needs...get a 5.1 Creative Card for ur speakers..if u can afford...
