First thing that i'd like to know would be, is there any visible advantage or difference between the core 2 duo processor T8100 and T5800? How does it effect the performance of the laptop like is it small or big?
I've been caught between this two models: HP DV4-1133TX and Dell XPS M1530. While HP sports a 512 MB Nvidia 9200 graphic card the Dell has a 256 MB Nvidia 8600 graphic card but no gigabit ethernet. I'm looking for a latop with which i can run games and of course multi tasking too with no fuss, my budget is 65,000. This are the official page for both the model:
Dell : *www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m1530?c=in&cs=indhs1&l=en&s=dhs
HP: *h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/in/en/ho/WF06b/321957-321957-3329744-64354-64354-3747826-3814427.html
I was wondering if anyone could suggest me since i indeed am confuse and none of my friends i know out here are familiar with both the models. Sure enough that some of the members in here owns either the model so i would like to hear your take on it. Also would like to know how much both the models cost out there, if you have any idea. The HP DV4-1133TX out here comes at 59,190+Vat 4% and Dell XPS M1530 cost 68,425 with tax. I know this cost a little thousand more but the difference isn't very significant.
If you could suggest any other model too then would be very interested in checking it out for myself too.

The HP's DV series (as pointed out by u too) is far better than the DELL's XPS series mainly and for the SOLE reason being that HP has a better gpu (a.k.a graphics card) wich is of the 9xxx series as compared to DELL's 8xxx series of gpus :)

also, as u asked abt the difference b/w the T8100 (of DELL) and T5800 (of HP) well there is NOT much of a difference I can see...(see below)

DELL's T8100--Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 (2.1 GHz, 3MB Cache, 800 MHz FSB)
HP's T5800----Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5800 (2.0 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB)

So, HP will really run alot lot better as it has:
a.) a 512 MB as compared to a 256 MB gpu of DELL
b.) the gpu is of 9xxx series as compared to 8xxx series of DELL.
---------

SO, please go for HP.. :) (even thou im a die hard DELL fan..but hv been disappointed by DELL for not introducing the 9xxx series of gpu in their XPS series) :(
-----------

Cheers n e-peace...
