^^ add a 6870 or 560ti as OP's budget limit is 38k, otherwise rest is the best VFM.

Change Proccy to Phenom X4 955 BE which is Rs. 800 odd more expensive but totally worth that money with added 6 MB L3 Cache and a Black Edition :D

teckfreak:shock:amd phenom x4 840 is a re branded Athlon x4 processor it doesn't have l3 cache. Darksider go for gigabyte GA 880GM-USB3@ 4.8K it is a AM3+ motherboard so better upgrade path.

BMG ftw!!
darksider, your config is also good, but if you can buy Phenom X4 955 BE as Tech_Wiz have already suggested for you, it will be great combo at your budget.

Yes a UPS is actually very important. A direct power off can actually cause permanent damage to ones pc components. I myself once ended up with a corrupt Hard drive without a ups. Therefore donot take chamber and buy a UPS.
and especially since you will be purchasing such costly components its - Better safe then sorry

Do you have to use the UPS for computer - CNET Computer newbies Forums

Even if you live in an area where power cuts are 'rare', that doesn't mean that not a single power cut will happen while you are using your PC. ;) So 'just' to be in the safe side you should opt for UPS.
