Well HP's DV series (having 9xxx series of nVIDIA gpu) are better than DELL's XPS series (having 8xxx series of nVIDIA gpu) that is for sure..
SO, if gaming and watching movies are ur primary requirements, then go for HP..
(coz of the 9xxx series of gpu)...
