Need help for Sound card

My PC which was installed over a year ago did not have a sound card. Can you please suggest options for sound card for this.

Usage will be mostly movies and listening to music. the in-built sound card has not been effective.

i7-3770K
Asus P8Z77-M Pro
8GB RAM
intel 240GB 520 series ssd,
Windows 8 Pro

Will asus xonar dg be a good option?

:( It is not PCIe card which is the slot in Asus P8Z77-M Pro MB.
My fault but disappointed no one pointed out in this as well as earlier threads posted by me on this.

any one interested for buy brand new - delivered today - for 1810/- bought from ITDepot.

any suggestions for PCIe card?

DGX is the PCIe version. Just exchange it in the shop you bought

Sorry man, sorry to hear that. I don't know if this will work but try contacting Asus support and explain your situation. Its a long shot but you have nothing to loose. Else sell it in the bazaar section
