Chrome on android is not able to run some specific sites which are of concern to me properly while safari has no problems running which makes me irritated that having this giant beast as some call it is worthless
Specific to the model of the phone. As for backing up apps or other things, follow the steps in previous posts. Will that backup copy be specific to that device or I could restore to a different smartphone? Like if I purchased a new one
A simple backup of iPhone 5S can be smoothly restored to an iPhone 6SSpecific to the model of the phone. As for backing up apps or other things, follow the steps in previous posts.

If you want to risk bricking your new android phone for a restoring task, restore some other phone's complete backup.
A complete nandroid backup includes device's kernel which varies from phone to phone. It's like a complete system image of the phone.
Why iphone backups are compatible? I don't know. That is because the backup of iphone doesn't makes a complete system image maybe.
I think you just want backup/restore of apps, contacts, call list, calendar and sms which can be accomplished by Titanium Backup, Super Backup and/or tons of apps out there. You aren't restricted to follow only one way for that.

One doesn't have to go through all that BS of how and what goes on beneath the implementation. iTunes is an easy to use solution that makes people's lives easier by doing simple tasks that they want. This is the difference ...life's much easier in the apple ecosystem than on android
Stop arguing ffs. It's clear that Android is not for him. Android can only be appreciated by people who want customization, know the ins and outs of different softwares and know that Apple stock headphones AND Beats are crap. This gentleman here is looking for a trouble free noob experience which requires no in depth knowledge such as flashing ROMs, recovery, rooting and bricking. He also wants a no research music experience, ie, he will forever listen to crap stock headphones and believe that all headphones are same and Beats are best.
+1 to Iphone 6s.

Yes, life is much easier in Apple ecosystem than Android. Life in Apple Ecosystem is like a comfortable jail cell. You have the everything that Apple wants you to have. Android is a sandbox.

Jail will be a demeaning term to use. I am open to good quality headphones but I don't think stock apple headphones are CRAP!
How in the entire universe a simple copy/paste or drag-n-drop easier than syncing the whole library and having 2-3 copies of it without user's knowledge consuming hard disk space unnecessarily?

Clearly you've never listened to quality headphones.

This.
You can't even listen to song files you own in iphone 6s w/o the syncing crap. How is this not a jail then?

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an audio format similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC without any loss in quality.
