need clear sounding speaker 2.1

Hello experts,
i'm hunting for a good and clear sounding 2.1 speaker set (not one of those boomy speakers which are loud but doesn't sound pleasing)
i would have preferred altec vs2621 but its not available anywhere (if you know anyone who can ship it to hyderbad please let me know).
purpose of the speaker:- mainly listening music sometimes movies too (for gaming and movies i usually prefer headphone)
budget around 2k (-/+ 0.5k)

You won't find any speaker in which you do not want "bold statement" thing at this price range of 2.5k. It's sad but true. :)

I would have suggested sony srs d8 or newer but your budget is low
D9 is also a god option but again, expensive.

what about altec vs2621 it was a good speaker set with pleasing sound and it was under 2k,
so i thought 2.5k should be good to get something similar to that,isn't it.:-(
can't you suggest anything that comes close to the requirement somewhere around that budget .
also what about this Creative Inspire T3130 available at 2k *shopping.indiatimes.com/computers/speakers/creative-inspire-t3130-2-1-speaker/11410/p_B926329
