Hi,

The time has come to purchase a new graphic card in my life.. I am trying to decide between Zotac GTX1060 amp edition and Asus GTX1060 Strix edition. Below are my PC configuration:

Processor> Intel i7 3770 (3rd gen)
Mobo> Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H
Ram> Local ram of memory (4GB)
SMPS> Circle 400W
Cabinet Circle full tower (CC821)
CPU fan> Cooler master Hyper 212 EVO
Hard drive > 1TB Western Digital.

My questions are 1) which is the best card out of these 2 two?
2) I also need to buy good 8GB RAM (please suggest).
3) Do I need to buy better Power Supply (its a year old)?
4) Will my processor handle 1060 GTX?
5) Does it fit in my cabinet?

If you don't need extra 2 years warranty that zotac provides upon registration then Strix would be my choice.

But first of all change your current PSU. For ram get 2x 8GB kingston HyperX Fury 1866 Mhz. Your CPU is fine.

Your Cabinet can support graphic cards upto 310 mm long and GTX 1060 strix is 298 mm.

1.Both are good but zotac offers 5 years warranty whereas asus only offers 3 years.

2.Upgrading the ram to 8GB is recommended as games are getting more resource intensive with each passing day and many newer titles may not work properly if you have just 4GB ram.

3.Yes,that PSU appears to be unreliable therefore you should change it 1st before you consider changing your gpu.

4.Your cpu won't bottleneck your new gpu that you're about to purchase.

5.Not 100% sure about this but i think it will fit in your existing cabinet as its fairly spacious.
