Need a Wireless Router

Hi,
I have a BSNL BB connection at home rigth now and in future I might change that to Airtel BB.


I now have a Wired( not wireless) modem(UT300R2U) provided by BSNL .
I now want a Wireless BB connection to access internet on my phone and laptop

I want to get rid of the old Modem and buy myself a new wireless Modem cum router.

My max budget is Rs.2500
Suggessions welcome on what model I should buy...

You could also try connecting your modem to a wireless router via the ethernet cable. Or you could get a new wireless modem if you want to do away with your existing modem.

Yes mate,

I spoke to couple of friends... they said that ADSL would be dead in a few years and they asked me to use the existing modem with a new Router alone..

So is that true.. Is it better to go for a Router alone and use my existing wired modem...

If you ain't got no problems with your existing modem, why change it altogether? You could connect it with the router. Besides, if you have to change the modem in the future, you'll still have the router for whatever modem you get in the future.
