Need a wireless router

Hello

I need a wireless router to connect Internet using PC and laptop.

There are two floors in my house i.e ground and 1st floor (1st floor is like a maala :| ) The distance between them is around 20 feets . If I keep the router on 1st floor (where my desktop is ) , will the net work properly if I sit use laptop on ground floor ?

Which wireless router should I go for ?

what type of internet connection u wnat to share for ur need u can go fo any N router if ur using a BB pppoe connection

Go fr simple belkin router ... My friend is using it ... he also has the same maala kind of home layout although 20mts is kinda very high ... check again ...

I've a cable net connection similar to fivenet.

And main post corrected , the distance is around 15-20 feet :|

go for asus router as said by mithun_mrg. I also recommended it to one of my friend. he brought the router and he kept it on the second floor and he could use the internet on his laptop easily with good speeds on the ground floor. its the best you can buy. dont go for the costly ones. this one is enough for your needs.
