Guys, I'm posting this on behalf of my friend.

Need some suggestions here.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

Ans: Mainly gaming. Call of Duty, Farcry 4, Fifa 16 (When it comes out.)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.

Ans: 35k max.

3. Planning to overclock?

Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?

Ans: Windows 8.1, will update to Windows 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?

Ans: Not needed. (already having 1 TB)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

Ans: Yes. (Minimum 21.5"-FHD; 24" - if possible within the budget)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Ans: Mouse, Keyboard and Speakers

8. When are you planning to buy the system?

Ans: Within 1 week.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

Ans: Yes.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Ans: Chennai. (open to buy from online also)

11. Anything else which you would like to say?

Ans: Kindly suggest UPS also; CPU could be either AMD or Intel; Preferable gaming @ 1080P

giprabu:for your friend's purposes a 20" 900p monitor would be better suited rather than a FHD monitor as at 900p,he'll be able to run most games maxed out.The gpu suggested by bssunil wont be able to run most new games comfortably at 1080p and so he'll be compelled to run them at lower resolutions(if he goes for a 22" monitor),thereby making the visuals look somewhat washed out and blurry-but with a 20" monitor he's most likely not going to face such issues as this card is capable of running all games at 900p smoothly.

Thank you guys..

Is it advisable to save 2-3k on processor/motherboard by opting to AMD and increase the GPU by 2-3k ??
