Need a Mid range gaming PC @ 25K-30K

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Programming : Eclipse ,Tomcat server,Web logic server, Netbeans SQL database
Gaming : GTA 4, SimCity Latest, NFS Most Wanted 2012 and older games of NFS
Productivity: Photoshop 6.0, Maya 2012
Others: Watching 720p mkv movies

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 25000 - 30000 max

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: I haven't done this before but Yes, If it will improve my performance

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 but will upgrade to Win 8 at later date

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500 GB (Not planning any SSD stuff)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes 21.5". (My current choice is Dell 2240L. Suggested by friend as it has IPS)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Speakers, Keyboard, mouse

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: One week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No .. will get it done by assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Hyderabad. Will buy online if it is cheaper and trustable (Never bought costly electronics online before)

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I am not a die hard gamer but I love games like NFS and Medal of Honor. I want this PC to have UEFI bios as I plan to upgrade to Windows 8 at a future date (maybe a year). This PC must be able to support future mid range games.

PS: I read in one of the posts about PSU importance, so please suggest a PSU also.

here IMO op should go for either i3-3220 or FX 6300 with HD 6670 or gt630. FX 4300 is not good option....

@ Clius: I am kind of a noob with motherboards. Is the Gigabyte mother board EFI equivalent to UEFI that Windows 8 needs ?

FX-6300 is way better than 3rd generation i3 processors.
Yes, EFI is equivalent to UEFI. ANd Windows 8 does not nedd UEFI BIOS, it will run on motherboard with normal BIOS too.
Yes, GDDR5 can provide twice the memory bandwidth when compared to a DDR3/GDDR3 memory, running at same speed. An 800 MHz GDDR5 memory is equivalent to a 1600 MHz DDR3 memory in terms of memory bandwidth. If you can increase then get the Sapphire HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5 version at 5.5K

I mean in terms of performance, will an APU perform equivalent to an i3 processor with a graphic card.

@op; I've suggested an apu, you don't need a graphic card with it for basic to medium gaming.

it isn't, though it will give you feel of 4-5k graphic card when paired with HIGH FREQUECY ~ 8GB ram, but still FX 6300+HD 6670 ddr5 is best multipurpose option

^^ Yes. In fact HD 7660D, the IGP of A10-5800K is even slower than the 6670 DDR3 version and performance is comparable with a HD 6570 DDR3 version when paired with a high speed DDR3 ram, say 1866 MHz. It is because of the fact that IGP shares the system memory as it lacks the dedicated memory. So more high speed Ram you use, more performance you will get.

My suggestion is same as Ankush28, get a discrete GPU + FX series Processor. If you can't afford FX-6300 then go for at least FX-4300. FX-4300 performs slightly better than A10-5800K in terms of CPU performance due to the presence of 4MB L3 cache, missing in the APU. But FX-6300 is the best VFM solution.
