Don't get an R7 240. Its not a gaming card(not even entry level).. look for an AMD 6670 GDDR5 version instead. or if you can squeeze a little more money a sapphire r7-250

Here is the cheapest I could find for you online,

AMD FX6300-7,166
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P-5,435
Corsair Vengeance 4 GB 1600 MHz-2,704
Asus 6670 1 GB DDR5 -5974,
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB -3800,
Antec VP450P-2,590
Asus DRW 24B3ST DVD R/W-1,000
Total-28669/-

Still, for a little more money, you could secure 2-3 years of gaming on that resolution with an R7 250. Click this
This will take your total to Rs. 29144
The advantage of having an R7 250 is that it has mantle support, so maybe it'll be helpful in a few games at least.

Hope this helps!

Mate r7 240 gddr3 performs slightly better than hd6670 gddr3.r7 240 gddr5 would perform near same or a bit better than hd6670 gddr5.

Yes if he wants a cheaper board he has this option too.. an R7 250x is essentially a rebranded HD7770. Will kill anything at your resolution.
However, do know that the board deathblade is suggesting will top out your memory speed at 1333MHz (OC) and will have no crossfire support.
From what I know and believe, a grand saved on a mobo will not be such a wise decision in the long run. If you want best of bitboth the worlds, get a 250x and the config I mentioned above. Should take you to ~30k but a thousand spent this day will make you feel more content in the coming days. Trust me on this :)

Any local case should do. The components should fit easily. Later, when you have more money to spend, get the CM 311 or an Antec V1

ok they're more or less the same then. I'd still urge you to get a minimum of r7 250, if not 250x
