My System reboot when UPS change over

I brought a new system few days back.
Intel E7400, Asus P5KPLam/ps Mobo , 2gb ram

Now my system reboot some times when the ups changes the power (when power gone)

But the same time the monitor and the BB modem are working as usual.

So only the system got reboot, . Why this, is this any problem with SMPS or MB?

I think no problem with UPS as the Monitor and the modeams are not got rebooted .


pls help me to find out it.

Your UPS switchover time is too high for the mobo. Get a UPS with a faster switchover time.

But this UPS work fine with my other system(old)

Is each MOBO have its own swithover time?

I just notice that it will not go reboot when i switch off the power switch of the ups. and even not when i swich off the house main supply box.

But when the supply power gone (ie from main supply Electricity board power cut) it will reboot.

Looks strange. what is the difference between switch off the switches and power cut from electricity broad?

the problem is with the relay in your ups.
