hey guys
my pc config is
P4 1.8,512 mb ram,HIS P4m266a mobo,GF4 440 mx(128 mb),300 watts smps. win xp pro with sp2.
games such as FIFA 2005, cricket 2004 just crash after some time of play(blue screen then reboot or some times some windows error).
but games such as MAX PAYNE 2,NFS UG 2,MAFIA do not.
why do only FIFA 2K5 & CRICKET 2k4 crash.
help this is getting really irritating.

i use the 66.93 drivers for my graphis card.

techno_funky

da' Ťurntable ruleth
did they always crash or was it after ur 66.93 drivers
i too got some problems with those drivers
for me fifa 2005 and UG2 gave corruptions
i rolled back to older drivers
and then they worked good
bow i have installed the "67.20," drivers
get them from www.guru3d.com
see try reinstalling the drivers

Lools like u don't have a sporty system.. lol

Dont Make Me Laugh  ....The system Specs He Has Is quite Sufficient For The Current Games That He requires To play Very Easily Mate.....Btw Well This could either Be Driver Compatibility problem Or Games Internal problem.....Did This Game Work Before Or did it crash on the First itself....Did U try Updating To The Nvidia Detonator Drivers Or The Latest Ones.....Get It from a search In google..... 8)

this started after i put an additional stick of 256mb(initially i had 256.
oh...i forgot to mention i run these games from the alcohol 120% emulator. is this causing some problems. :(
no texture curruption,no errors when i start the game.some times the game runs fine.perfectly well.but then sometimes blue screen & reboot(middle of the game).some times there is a blue screen staring at me right after i exit the game.then sometimes explorer crashes. reboot.
should i reinstall Xp. :?

Please carefully read all the posts by other members in this thread...

I am not saying that this is the solution ...
But according to techno_funky...
Have you tried installing older drivers....
Coz the newer ones might not be compatiable with older cards...
